Agnès’ practice is focused on business litigation, healthcare litigation, intellectual property, and labor and employment litigation and counseling.
Since joining the firm in 2005, Agnès has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in business and partnership disputes and has assisted both corporate and individual clients obtain favorable judgments, arbitration awards and settlements. She has represented physicians, independent practice associations and medical groups in matters involving unfair competition, fraud, billing disputes, contract disputes, and business and partnership disputes.
In 2009, Agnès played an integral role in obtaining a favorable jury verdict against a large Southern California healthcare company for trade secret violations. She recently served as trial counsel in a class action in the Central District of California and successfully defended claims of human trafficking brought against her clients. Agnès has handled matters in both state and federal court, including adversary matters in bankruptcy court. She also has experience before various arbitration tribunals and second-chaired an arbitration hearing which resulted in an award of nearly $1 million for a client involved in partnership disputes. Agnès advises employers on compliance issues and handbook development and frequently handles employment litigation matters involving wage and hour claims, workplace discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
Recently, Agnès assisted several clients successfully settle actions against their former employers and is currently representing defendants in a highly publicized class action suit involving multiple venues and complex legal issues.
As Chair of the Firm’s Community Outreach Committee, Agnès has also handled several pro bono projects. She has worked with the Constitutional Rights Foundation and has assisted clients with guardianship matters though the Alliance for Children’s Rights.
